Begin Your Career as an Operator Apprentice

Our Operator Apprentice position is the perfect fit if you’re looking for an entry-level career opportunity with room for growth and development. Whether you have a high school diploma, GED, or college degree, look no further! You’re about to enter the exciting world of manufacturing.

What an Operator Apprentice Does

As a 2nd or 3rd shift operator apprentice, you will work in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility, supporting our machine operators by supplying production lines, processing products, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will work alongside a team of operators to ensure our production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve inspecting product quality, packing finished goods according to customer specifications, processing products from production lines, and documenting all related activities.

How You Are Prepared for This Role

In addition to working alongside our veteran operators, a team of certified trainers will provide on-site job training to give you the skills to operate our equipment efficiently. Our program also includes comprehensive safety training to ensure that our employees can identify potential hazards and take action to prevent accidents. We are committed to keeping YOU safe! Don’t Just Take Our Word For It

Our Training Manager, Kevin Henke, leads a team of seven dedicated training assistants who provide frequent check-ins and hands-on training. With 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins, you’ll always know where you stand in your training program. Our training staff is flexible and available outside regular hours, including weekends, to ensure you get the individualized attention needed to master machine tasks.

Don’t just take our word for it – hear from one of our employees, Erik Bonta, who started his journey in 2011. Erik came to us with a background in restaurants and retail, with little manufacturing experience, and was looking for a change in his career. Starting as an operator apprentice, Erik quickly moved up the ranks and became a certified machine operator within six months of his tenure. He credits his success to the expert training from our trainers and seasoned operators on the 2nd shift. With hands-on learning, practice set-ups, and testing, Erik was able to build his confidence and become comfortable operating our machines.
