EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST DAY

Pay

You will receive an email from “Paycor” to complete your onboarding information. This sets up your employee information, direct deposit, and payroll information. This must be completed prior to your orientation date.

Parking

On your first day, you will report to the Morris office entrance for your orientation. You may also park in any parking spot near the front entrance.

Clock

Please refer to your welcome email on the date/time to report for orientation. This will include presentations on HR, Safety, and Quality Control. You will also receive a tour of the facility and become acclimated to the Morris enviornment.

Lunch

You may choose to bring your lunch your first day. We also have some canteen selections for purchase onsite. We provide refrigerators and other items in the break room to store and fix your meals.

I.D.

Please be sure to bring the necessary identification for I-9 verification to orientation. Below is a copy of acceptable I-9 docs for you. Morris must receive this in the first 3 days of your employment to comply with federal law. We are not able to employ you if we don't get this information in the first 3 days.

Uniform

You will need to dress in casual, comfortable clothing until you receive your uniform or other apparel. Clothing must be clean, and employees should avoid torn, frayed, and anything with words, logos, or pictures that may be deemed offensive.

Safety

Please also be sure to wear protective footwear. Steel or composite toed shoes are required on the production floor; Electrostatic Dissipative Safety (EDS) Shoes & Boots are recommended due to the presence of static build-up on some of our products. We reimburse up to $100 for the purchase of protective footwear. Just bring in your receipt to Human Resources.

You will be eligible for most benefits on the first of the month after being hired with Morris Packaging. We will go into detail and answer any questions you have on our benefits during orientation.

During orientation you will discover more about who we are and receive a comprehensive training period to ensure you have the knowledge necessary to complete your job responsibilities to your fullest potential.
