We understand that each team member has a different set of needs when it comes to healthcare. We currently offer three different plans with varying competitive costs, coverages and deductibles, through Blue Cross BlueShield. The healthcare benefit is available at a monthly cost for employee only, employee + spouse, employee + child(ren) & family.
Health Savings Plan – HSA
We are proud to offer a tax-free savings account plan within one of our health care plan options that can be used to pay for qualified medical expenses. By using untaxed dollars in an HSA to pay for deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and some other expenses, you may be able to lower your overall health care costs.
Oral health is essential to your overall health. Morris Packaging is thrilled to offer a dental plan covering routine, basic, and major dental services, including orthodontia. Our plan is available for both the employee and their family for a monthly deduction, if applicable.
Our vision plan offers coverage for exams, prescription glasses, contacts, and more. Employees have the option to purchase this plan to cover themselves, their spouse, children, and as a family.
Voluntary Life Insurance
Voluntary life insurance is a financial protection plan that provides a cash benefit to a beneficiary upon the insured’s death. It’s an optional benefit offered by Morris Packaging. The employee pays a monthly premium in exchange for the insurer’s guarantee of payment upon the insured’s death.
Group Life and AD&D Insurance
This company-paid Group Term, Life/AD&D insurance, provides death benefits for all of Morris Packaging’s employees. Accidental Death and Dismemberment affords coverage for specific losses sustained as a result of any injury, subject to certain time limitations and exclusions.
Short Term & Long Term Disability
Income protection is important. Morris Packaging is pleased to offer these employee-paid plans. Short-term disability is intended to cover you immediately following a serious illness or injury. Long-term disability insurance is intended to maintain income replacement if your condition keeps you out of work past the end of your short-term disability benefit period, even to retirement, depending on your plan.
401K Program with Employer Match

Yes, we provide both new employees and on-the-job training. When you join our team we will provide you with the necessary tools to succeed at your job. The majority of your training will occur on the job. You will work with your supervisor to make sure you stay on track with your learning objectives and goals. You will also receive formal training relating to your key role in the organization. We are all about helping our employees grow.
